Courting 9.3 million total viewers and a 4.4 rating, Fox’s New Girl continued to be veddy popular in her second outing, repeating as Tuesday’s top-rated program in the coveted 18-49 demo (dipping just 8 percent from its debut).

In doing so, the freshman comedy again improved on lead-in Glee, which with 8.3 million viewers and a 3.6 rating was down 10 percent from its season opener.
