Joan Jett, Beastie Boys, Red Hot Chili Peppers Nominated to Rock Hall of Fame

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has announced its 2012 nominees.


To qualify, the act must have released its first single or album 25 years ago.

More than 500 voters will decide who land a place in the Cleveland exhibit. They'll be inducted on April 14.

· Heart

Can't believe I missed this. :(

It is a joke that the Monkees are still not in the Hall of Fame!

Not really a fan of any of them for the most part

And Yet...

Chicago
The Moody Blues
Procol Harum
Frank Sinatra (As an Early Influence/Non-Performers...because of Reprise Records)
Ed Sullivan (Because he brought many Rock Performers to Television)

...and many others will be inducted when Cleveland wins a Championship!

Since I'm a fan of 1960's-early 1970's(not all of the 1970's)music,I am familiar with--and like--Donovan and writer Laura Nyro's work,but as for the rest of the inductees,I am not familiar with --nor am I interested in--their music.
