I just learned that yesterday Bounce TV launched in my backyard!

Dayton Daily News: "New TV network launches today" (http://www.daytondailynews.com/blogs/content/shared-gen/blogs/dayton/seen_and_overheard/entries/2011/09/26/new_tv_network_launches_today.html)

Appearing on channel 26.2 (digital subchannel from WBDT 26, Dayton's CW), it will be geared toward the black audience (think BET). Among its Board of Directors will be Martin Luther King, III, and Andrew Young (former UN ambassador under, I believe, Jimmy Carter).

Is "Bounce TV" airing elsewhere, or is Dayton the "home base"?

Seems like a waste of a station.I took a quick look at their schedule and they are airing mostly bargain basement movies, judge shows and other garbage.I hope that station does not stand in the way of my area getting Me-tv.

Yeah, here in Little Rock, Bounce TV launched as a subchannel of our easy to receive MyNetwork affiliate, but MeTV has been available for a few weeks as a subchannel of an underpowered Univision affiliate that I have no hope of receiving at my location in the suburbs. I would have much preferred for them to have been reversed.

I went to Bounce TV's website at http://www.bouncetv.com, and I learned that the station is headquartered in Atlanta! I wonder if our own Todd Fuller knows!
