She of course is the ex wife of Frasier played masterfully by Bebe Neuwirth. Would you tune into a spin-off about her life and career? Is it too late to do a 'Frasier' spin-off show? Could Bebe Neuwirth carry her own show?

I think people would give it a chance, but it would have to come out of the gates running. I think it would have to take on its own creditability very quickly to survive.

Very true, although there already would be a built in Cheers/Frasier audience. I would say to air this on NBC, but their track record isn't very good.

I think Lilith is one of those characters who is best in small doses. She's good as a supporting character (Cheers) or as a guest character (Frasier) but as a lead character I think you would become weary of her pretty quickly.

Interesting viewpoint Marv. So if they loaded up the cast and made this an ensemble show like with what Frasier did, it couldn't work?

I don't think Lillith is a sympathetic enough character to build a show around.

I think that giving Lilith her own show would have been a bit much; especially if they had done this after Frasier ended. I'm sure by that point Kelsey was probably tired of playing the same character for so long and I doubt that Bebe Neuwirth would have accepted. She was offered a bigger role on Frasier but turned it down because she wanted to do Broadway and other stage productions. Marve is right in saying that she's best taken in small doses. I've liked all the episodes of Frasier that she's been in, but I don't think I could take an entire show that features Lilith week after week!

I would watch if they did a Lilith show, especially if they had the Frasier cast make appearances. Who would've thought Frasier could carry his own show?

Yeah, I agree she's best enjoyed in small doses. During her run on Cheers she was a much more well-rounded character that would have stood a better chance at a spinoff. But due to the oneshot appearances and an 11-year span on Frasier she was made a little more one-dimensional (albeit equally good). Not to say they couldn't change her much like they did with Frasier for his own series.
