Hello everyone,

Does anyone remember a segment in which this elaborate drug-trafficking operation was taking place:

An underground tunnel crossed the border from the U.S. to Mexico. The U.S. entrance (from Texas I believe) was actually underneath the leg of a pool table. This is was one of the most fascinating things I've ever seen.

Also, I remember a segment in which a bank was robbed during the night time by drilling a hole from underneath the vault. I'm sure this was on UM and not AMW

Thanks!

Thanks for reminding me - will take a refresh at this one also ;)

Got it, betterdayz2k12! the wanted drug smuggler responsible for the tunnels was Raphael Camarena ;) :D

One has to admit: That was one awesome operation. Sad and illegal, but highly organized.

A little info on Camarena:

Even less info on tunnel robbers:

I recently watched the Burrowing Burglars segment. One of these days I should watch it again and add more details to the wiki article on them. It's a very interesting and detailed case. (A while back, I edited a couple pages on the UM wiki, but I'm so bad at it, I actually need to practice so I don't accidentally wipe out important info!)

I believe it was a tunnel from the mexican to AZ border...agua prieta/douglas AZ.

there are probably more tunnels like this that were used or are being used by the current cartels in mexico. our next war is probably going to be in mexico once we are done in afghanistan. hate to say it, but its bad over there and the cartels are going more into terrorist activities to take control.
