In anticipation of Love, American Style beginning this Monday on national Me-TV , I am curious to know from anyone in Chicago who watches LAS on Me-Too if they are using the old Paramount Split Rectangle logo with the Lalo Schifrin/Dominic Frontiere jingles or if they are plastered with CBS Television? From what I've seen, many shows on Me-TV seemed to retain original logos, thus preserving the integrity of their shows. Thanks for your input.

Just saw today's episode and yes, it looks like I'll be seeing the classic Paramount Split Box on LAS, after all, which is great after seeing the CBS/Paramount Television logo on the DVDs all this time, :D

Yes, they are using the 70s/80s prints of the syndicated reruns.

Thanks! It's too bad LAS will be going on hiatus after 4/13 from the National Schedule of Me-TV, :( What a bummer considering it hasn't been airing one whole year.

Yes, a bummer--the show hasn't even gone to air one complete cycle! And I love the opening at this point in the reruns with all the fireworks actually being heard. But I've heard that this is just a hiatus...we'll see. Some other shows could stand reduced airings IMO.

To think, I was looking forward to seeing stories like The Hand Maiden, End of the Line, Singing Suitor, etc. I sure hope it is an hiatus and that it returns to a more suited time slot on MeTV. Anyways, loved the fireworks opening also, as is reminds me of the Season 1 opening with the firework burst into the main titles. I've always loved the star-spangled animated opening as it went perfect with the open brass/flute or picolo intro.

It still tickles me that at least one episode from Season 1 in syndication still has the Cowsills theme song--one wonders if that was intentional.

I was shocked too when I saw "Love and the Bed" on Me-TV. Even though I have that segment in the Season 1 set, I recorded it anyway for that reason and a RARE still shot of the "More Love To Come" bumper.:) I give Me-TV props for retaining all the LAS bumpers and Paramount TV logos, thus retaining the nostalgic dignity of the show.

LAS is among the primetime series Me now airs in their summer lineup -- so at least one night per week, we'll be able to watch. And hopefully they'll air the later segments they hadn't yet reached.

I saw an episode the other night with Regis Philbin on it. He looked so young but sounded the same. It was from 1969. I thought the episode was good.
