it was about the same as last weeks ep cute and amusing but not really laugh out loud funny i still liked it and will keep watching my mother wacthed it too and she outright hated it and she has always liked christina applegate

Interesting, so the show really hasn't improved much from the pilot. I am curious to see what the ratings will be like.

Yep, didn't improve one bit. But I was surprised with how much I liked Nick Cannon's character. For once, he wasn't playing Nick Cannon! Nevertheless, I'm really hating Maya Rudolph's character. She doesn't fit well...

I watched for the second time and agree it's smile-worthy but no real laughs. Not good enough to make of point of watching every week but would check out if nothing else is one.

I admit I haven't watched the pilot yet, but I have both episodes DVR'd. Probably will continue to DVR them. Usually it takes me about 5 episodes to really get into a show... (or to fall in love with it, which is what happened with Frasier...)
