You know when you peel off stickers on CDs and it becomes sticky after you pull it off? Yeah, I used Goo Gone and I was amazed that the stickness is gone after a few seconds after putting Goo Gone on the stickness :eek:

The DVD. Considering how fast Television has been going downhill this past decade, if it hadn't been for the ability to purchase Box Sets of TV Shows made at a time when TV still had something decent to watch, I'd probably be in the Booby Hatch by now! :crazy:

I agree with all of these except for the gun. Definitely don't agree with that but to each his own. My personal favorites would be the Internet and the DVR. The internet allows you to connect with people all over the world. And the DVR (I'm putting VCR Into this category as well) allows you to tape shows you might have missed. I remember the days when it wasn't possible to do this.

I will agree with Edison, for can you imagine living with out artificial light.
All we would depend on would be the sun. The person who perfected electricity did a good job too.

I remember when VCRs and Big-Screen TVs first came out in the mid-1970s. VCRs Cost around $2,500.00, and the Big Screen TVs cost as much as a New Car! :eek:

Relating more to what you are asking, I can't say what the greatest creation was, but there have been many good ones.

I actually have a list somewhere of the top 100 inventions. I think it was from Globe magazine.

I don't remember the top 10, but #1 was the flush toilet.

For me, it may sound strange but one of my favorite inventions is the radio. It really comes in handy and you don't need to "watch" it like a TV so you can enjoy it almost anywhere.
