Rainn Wilson, who plays the by-the-book paper salesman Dwight Schrute on NBC’s The Office has a bone to pick with the universe of TV for not handing Steve Carell a statuette for Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.

“The world of TV should be ashamed of itself that Steve Carell never won an Emmy for Michael Gary Scott. Goodnight,” wrote Wilson on his Twitter.

This puts Carell on a list that includes Jackie Gleason, who I understand never won an Emmy for "The Honeymooners" or "The Jackie Gleason Show" or even an Oscar (if Jane Kean was correct when she said that in an interview).

Also, Jason Alexander never won for "Seinfeld."

Okay I haven't seen the shows Matt LeBlanc or Louis C.K. are on. Both Johnny Galecki and Alec Baldwin are good in their roles, though I still say it would be between Steve Carell and Jim Parsons. Wow, no one from Community or How I Met Your Mother were nominated? Sheesh.

It's a disgrace. Twitter was blowing up with angry celebs lol. I don't even watch the Office too much and I knew that he deserved it. Unbelievable.
