Have you anime fans seen Jigoku Shoujo? It's "The Girl From Hell" from 2005. It's a bizarre, weird anime about any victim who gets harassed by any one for any kind of crime, and if the victims get to the boiling point, they can exact revenge against the ones who made them suffer. How do they do this? At Midnight, they can go to this arcane website called "Hell Correspondence", and they can type in the name of the sour person they want to see get sent to Hell. You heard right... "Hell". Then, 4 people from another world; Ai Enma, the small girl with a black flower kimono and blood red eyes who does the work to send people to Hell and ferries their poor souls to the gateway for all eternity, and backing her up are 3 others, Wanyudo (The old man with a hat), Ren Ichimoku (The young man) and Hone Onna (The other woman) participate in Saw-like situations that the antagonists try to see the errors, but most of the time, they won't admit to the crimes. After that, Ai Enma comes out of nowhere near the antagonist and says her chilling rite...
"Yami ni madoishi awarena kage yo
Hito o kizutsuke otoshimete
Tsumi ni oboreshi gō no tama
Ippen... shinde miru?"
Then, Ai Enma opens her kimono to shoot flower petals on the antagonist and sends him/her to Hell by saying "This is vengeance... So I am to ferry you... to Hell".
Earlier in the show, Ai Enma has a warning to each protagonist: She gives them a straw doll with a red thread on the neck. Any time he/she pulls the thread, he/she enters the covenant, meaning that after Ai sends the antagonist to Hell, the protagonist will ALSO be sent to Hell after they die... NO MATTER WHAT! Also, at the end of a episode, he/she will get a mark on his/her chest that signifies that he/she went into the covenant.
Some of the episodes make you wanna cringe and cry, but be warned, this ain't for kiddies, that's for sure. If you don't know what this means, I've posted some pics. This is pure horror and supernatural.
