Community is the most innovative comedy ever on television. Period. No show deserves an Emmy more this year than Community, and no other supporting actor in a comedy deserves an award more than Danny Pudi or Donald Glover. Nevertheless, the Emmys have left this show out in the cold for a second year in a row despite immense critical acclaim. Now, to say it's the most innovative comedy of all time doesn't necessarily mean I think it's the funniest show of all-time, but no other show is as creative as this show is. On a weekly basis, Dan Harmon and his team of writers make it their goal to satirize the sitcom genre while pushing out pop-culture references faster than any given episode of Family Guy. To quote Abed, Community is just cool... cool, cool, cool. When it returns on Thursday for its third season, things will be quite different for our favorite study group; this year, Troy and Abed will be sharing an apartment, the gang will be taking Biology 101 with Professor Kane (guest star Michael K. Williams, The Wire), Dean Pelton will not only have a new goatee, but a new enemy in John Goodman, and Pierce will be out of the study group, at least temporarily.
