Thank you, FOX, for giving "I Hate My Teenage Daughter" a concrete premiere date (and then pushing it back a week to a second date) so that it could make this list. If "cringing" and "shuddering in distaste" were the same as "laughing," then "I Hate My Teenage Daughter" would produce the most laughs of the fall. Instead, this is 22 minutes of watching two really unappealing women (played by the previously quite appealing Jaime Pressly and Katie Finneran) complain about their teenage daughters who, alas, as every bit as icky as described. You're left hating the teenage daughters, hating the inept parents and not laughing at either. It's that visceral feeling of malice that sets "I Hate My Teenage Daughter" apart from "Free Agents" and "Whitney." I wanted to turn this one off after three minutes. Instead, I suffered through it twice. Sometimes, professionalism sucks.
