Top Gun is Reportedly Coming Back to Theaters in 3D

Tony Scott's Top Gun is reportedly heading back to theaters... in 3-D.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Legend3D is taking on the conversion process and the re-release is set to hit theaters some time in 2012.



Said Legend3D CEO Rob Hummell in a statement:

"As I understand it, they are planning to release 'Top Gun' in 3D in early 2012, though I know they want to get Tony Scott's approval before they go forward."

Oh Brother...

Enough with this 3D ****, they'll want to re-release a classic like "Gone with the Wind" in 3D next...think about it...dying people and fire in your face?

Or another Star Wars release all in 3D, lol.
