have you watched any of the Fall Preview Specials this season?

what are your thoughts on them? - I assume that they are all available online somewhere, but I'm too lazy to track them down. i usually watch and record them every year.

 I do not want to watch them at all! It's just going to be the same stupid trashy shows anyway! I'm sticking to Antenna tv and the religious channels!

ABC Preview Special - the ONLY place that they aired this in my area was on the local FOX affiliate (which owns the ABC affiliate and it generally gets treated like crap and is usually used mainly for airing local high-school sports events) this one was hosted by some unknown actor that is going to be appearing in the new version of Charlie's Angels, he was pretty soft-spoken and kinda boring - they should have had the three hot girls from Charlie's Angels do the hosting duties they were the only interesting part of the special.

CBS Fall Preview - this was easily the best of the specials; hosted by the cast of The Big Bang Theory it was entertaining and funny (not as funny as an actual episode of the BBT, but entertaining nonetheless). They did an OK job of introducing their new shows, but they didn't convince me into checking out anything i wasn't already interested in.

the CW Fall Preview - probably the worst of the specials, hosted by Kristoffer Polaha and Maggie Q (both of whom have been good on their own shows, but were worthless here) - he comes off as a raving lunatic, while she seemed just uncomfortable to be there. Of course unless you are a 13-year-old-girl there is nothing on this network for you, so they didn't really have much to work with and it just came off as a series of weekly promos for each show.

FOX Fall Preview - i have no idea who the host Mary Murphy is, but she also comes off as a lunatic in need of heavy doses of stabilizing narcotics, she actually yelled out "WHOOOOOO!!!!!" on multiple occasions. However FOX did a good job of making their new and returning shows LOOK interesting, and will probably make me check out shows I would have otherwise ignored. The promo for Raising Hope was excellent, and i enjoyed the cast interviews on the special.

NBC Primetime Preview Special - hosted by Whitney Cummings and Chris D’Elia the stars of the upcoming new show Whitney, i like Whitney's standup, but I don't know if I want to see her star in a sitcom. NBC spent a lot of time on some of their shows in the special while completely glossing over others (the only thing they said about Harry's Law was what night it was on). I want to check out Grimm, but not many of their other new shows look very interesting. Another tough year to come over at NBC.

I didn't vote because there wasn't a 'I don't like any of them' option.
I am sick of the crap the networks offer us.

again, this thread is not what you think of the network's new shows - it is directed at your opinion of the Fall Preview Specials that each network aired to introduce their new fall seasons to us.

I remember when the Fall Preview Specials used to be a BIG DEAL, they would air them in Primetime and people would actually look forward to watching them; although I guess with the advent of the internet and sites like ours and with the news blog it isn't all that necessary to have the preview specials...
