View Full Version : Now That The Dust Has Settled, After All The Hoopla, Did Charlie Sheen Actually Win?

Lets look at both sides and then you can tell me your opinions...

After continuous erratic behavior and telling co-stars and producers to go to hell, Sheen was fired from 'Two and A Half Men.'

Since then Charlie went on this mostly disastrous nationwide tour telling his side of the story. Charlie Sheen now has a new sitcom in development and was cast in his first post "men" movie.

On the other side, Chuck Lorre got ride of the cancer which apparently was Sheen and hired sitcom vet Ashton Kutcher to replace him. Word from the 1st tapings is that the audience roared with continuous laughter and gave the new cast a standing ovation.

Now, with all that said, who won this war or is it still yet too early to tell?

Even if it's too early to tell whether the new 2.5 Men will be a hit with audiences, Charlie Sheen lost big time! Anger Management has yet to find a network, and TBS, the most-likely network to pick the show up since it's being produced by the same people who distribute Tyler Perry's shows, is owned by Warner Brothers, and that company will in NO WAY work with Sheen again.

still too early to tell

I think the show will do alright, but i don't think Charlie Sheen's career is over yet.

Excellent observations guys! I do agree that Charlie Sheen still has something left in the gas tank so to speak.

I think Charlie lost in a big way. I doubt he'll ever star in a super successful tv show again, or if he'll ever make that kind of money again. He's ruined whatever reputation he had left, and that wasn't much. He's no doubt talented, but he's also an idiot. He had better get used to making b movies, and that's a lowercase b. Even if Men hits the skids, Charlie still lost. I think he wishes he could do it all over and not self-destruct like he did.

I have to agree with the majority that it's too soon to tell but I think in the long run it will read like Janice predicted. Again, only time will tell.

If everything else fails, he still has that porn offer from Vivid Entertainment to consider. ;)

Didn't he also get an offer to cameo on Entourage?

Yes, but the show is now over. The finale was actually tonight.

From what I've heard, if a company is hosting a Charlie Harper funeral, that can be watched on their website during the event, I think Charlie Sheen might be "winning".

When I read this, I had to laugh. Either this company is a huge Two and a Half Men fan or they have a weird sense of humour. It almost makes me think of Spamalot.

It's such a crazy idea, it's hard not to be curious about it. I think it would be cool if Charlie Sheen showed up to it though. If he did, it would definitely give him the final say in Charlie Harper's death.
