Has picked up AMW! (America's Most Wanted) There's a thread in the non UM forum.
Hopefully that only helps viewership for Unsolved and they do new cases...
I saw they were playing Forensic Files (under the name Medical Detectives) and Cold Case Files before UM today.

"Was" is right. AMW is going to resume production for Lifetime. Besides, due to the nature of the show, AMW can't be rerun like other TV shows.

Are they going to showcase guys who beat their wives? But in all seriousness it better not suck like Farina on UM

Other than the transition from Fox to Lifetime, the show will most likely experience little or no change.

Thanks for the info! Had really been wanting to see some Medical Detectives again. Already have my dvd recorder set up....:)
Thrilled that Lifetime picked up America's Most Wanted. Not the channel I expected it but still, it's a well-known channel and it is a channel that does air a lot of true crime stuff. There were some amusing joking how this puts a new spin on the "women in trouble" policy of Lifetime. But good for Lifetime to save this important show.
Interestingly, Fox is still contracted to air four two-hour specials, the first one airing on October 29th. So I call that a win-win for the show.
