As a matter of fact, I wanted to give a full account of what it was really like when I met Lisa WHELCHEL for the first time in 1987.
And I am about to CONTINUE with what happened AFTER I met her then, because people have requested I tell MORE about what happened when I went to see the tapings, so I felt that I owed them a story. NOT to bore people with short attention spans to death, but to give some picture of what she meant to me back then and what it was like to be in her neck of the woods at that time. People have found it interesting, and I was about to bag the whole thing until people said they wanted to hear more. The reason why I called my last segment "...GROUND ZERO...IN HYPERSPACE!!" was to make it sound more exciting than it was so people would be interested in reading it. SO THERE. THE TIME
LORD HAS SPOKEN.

To LW4Ever,
Funny, I don't even WATCH Survivor, I don't have a tv. I did see part of it on Thanksgiving at my mommie's house. But I have heard "the tribe has spoken" before (on the Lisa Whelchel site? plus elsewhere), and though I may have probably got it from that,
but it wasn't intentional.
And as for YOU, Division Fan Lisa, little missie, I know you think I am just wasting my time and everyone else's by not focusing on the FOL-taping part of my visit to LA, but because there was a story BEHIND my seeing the taping, I felt people would be interested in it. This WASN'T just about the taping, but about my experiences down there. If any of you guys have just too short of an attention span for this--DON'T READ IT!! DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PUT THE TIME LORD IN HIS PLACE, PUNY HUMANS, FOR I WILL LAY WASTE TO YOUR PLANET!!!! HA-HA-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAHAHAH!!!!  (Except I will spare Sunset-Gower Studios in downtown Hollywood and make it a shrine.)

To DFL, I do apologize if I have offended you by calling you, er, you know. Sometimes it is hard for me to tell what age a person is, just as it may be hard for me to show that I am being entirely
facetious. It was that I was very irritated that you were blowing me off for telling a story that I thought TRUE FOL/Lisa Whelchel fans would like to hear--this was the MOTHERLODE of cool Facts experiences. I don't expect everyone to follow what I am saying,
but this was a big deal for me when I was 24/25. You may be a little young to understand, but I do it for the benefit of people who would like to read more. How come there aren't any more people on this site who are my age?? "ALL YOU ZOMBIES SHOW YOUR FACES...YOU DON'T HAVE TO HIDE ANYMORE!"
That's any '80's song, I'll give a Frozen Milky Way (Blair's favorite!!) to the first person who can tell me who did this song.

It's called "All You Zombies" and it is by The Hooters

Holy Moses met the Pharaoh
Yeah, he tried to set him straight
Looked him in the eye, "let my people go"

Holy Moses on the mountain
High above the golden calf
Went to get the Ten Commandments
He's just gonna break them in half

All you zombies hide your faces
All you people in the street
All you sittin' in high places
The pieces gonna fall an you

No one ever spoke to Noah
They all laughed at him instead
Working an his ark, working all by himself

Only Noah saw it coming
40 days and forty nights
Took his sons and daughters with him
They were the Israelites

All you zombies hide your faces
All you people in the street
All you sittin' in high places
The rain's gonna fall on you

Holy Father, what's the matter
Where have all your children gone
Sitting in the dark, living all by themselves
You don't have to hide anymore

All you zombies show your faces....

To Karli, why did I have to say WHAT--the Frozen Milky Way thing,
or about the band who did the song? Are you afraid you're going to miss out on Blair's favorite candy bar, seeing the other guy quoted the entire lyrics? WINNER! WINNER! WINNER! Or...?;)
