FamilyNet is a cable network. They have been around for some time. www.familynet.com

They used to air Happy Days, Family Ties, etc a couple years ago.

Read our past stories: http://blog.sitcomsonline.com/search/label/FamilyNet

And thanks mets82. ALN's website is www.americanlifetv.com

FamilyNet seems like a channel that's worth having. Wonder if Comcast would ever carry it?

I'm so happy for Mr. Belvedere returning to regular syndication in what seems like 90 freakin' years!

Not only do I hope this helps in getting the final two seasons on DVD, but I also hope they go through at least 1 or 2 complete 117-episode rotations. When KTTV had the show on their schedule, they went through the entire rotation like 3 or 4 times.

Amen to that. It seems like it has been 20 years since it has aired on tv.

Thank you FamNET for not only bringing in Newhart, which I ended up not seeing b/c my stupid cable provider AT&T U-Verse dropped WGN America when Newhart was airing on there but for also airing a show that's been M.I.A. for 20 years in Mr. Belvedere!

WOOOOOOOO-HOOOOOOOOO!!! :D

Re: Mr. Belvedere, I would also like to bring this up:

Word on the Internet is that Fox is refusing to be cooperative in offering the remaining seasons to Shout Factory at a fair price.

Fox is being totally unrealistic and ridiculous, not to mention very arrogant. They can't expect a show like Mr. Belvedere that has been M.I.A. in syndication for an incredibly long time to have the exact same sales numbers as say Seinfeld or Friends.

And now, with its return to syndication, and with seasons 1-4 on DVD, it's time for Fox to man up and face the music: Us Belvey fans want the remaining seasons on DVD more than ever.

He also speculates in page 2 that it's possible they may not be allowed to disclose everything that goes on between them and their licensors).

I swear to god I'm not making this up. And don't it's just Shout Factory that's going through this. Fox did the same thing to VCI and Burke's Law. The first two DVD sets were strong sellers for VCI and they were going to get more episodes, but then Fox threw a beyond-outrageous price tag in their faces. Just a coincidence? I doubt it.

Face it, Fox has a nasty reputation of playing hardball with just about anyone the deal with. But don't worry, I'm sure one day, karma will come back to bite Fox in the rear, for all this crap they've pulled on indies.

FOX has always been greedy for years.

Which is probably why NuvoTV just took off L.A. Law after only a few weeks/months and they were right at the end of the 1st half of S1 on top of that.
