Thirteen-year-old Stephanie is enamored with the quarterback of the high school football team. But at their house, he puts the moves on her older cousin Bille. Everyone gets upset, the family unity is dissolved, but everything gets patched up.

This is another episode where it seemed the Stephanie of seasons 3 and 4 was a different girl. It's hard to see the younger independent and wise beyond her years Stephie, the one that told a shocked Uncle Arch she was going to be the boss of her household, totally lose control over some boy like she did here.

Eric Carlson (Paul King) must have had a great publicist with deep pockets. In those days he was pushed hard in the teeny bopper magazines as the next big thing. And they always made a big deal that he was single. So naturally he'd have to be Stephanie's love interest as Danielle Brisebois was big in those same mags. But sadly for them they'd soon be cast aside for the next crop of young wannabes. At least Danielle had a bit of success before she was discarded.
