I received the book "The Freddie Prinze Story" a week and half ago. I finished it in three days. It was a good book. A lot of questions I had before were answered. When I was reading the book, I couldn't help but think, if the fame never happened, would Freddie still be here today? It just seemed that the real problem with drugs came when he entered hollywood. Reading the book, I felt like I was going back in time living from day to day with him. At first everything went so well, then it all fell apart. He had such a bright future in his career. Then it was destroyed by those Ludes (I call it that for short since I can't spell the full word). I wish things could have been different for him. I used to blame his wife Kathy, but since I read the book, I'm not doing that anymore. I feel she did the best she could. I also used to think that she used Freddie, but I was wrong. She did love him. The only people I blame now is the two doctors Freddie was seeing. I'm glad Maria and Kathy won their law suite against them in 1982. Those doctors only contributed to his death. From reading Maria's book, I do know that Freddie was a good person. It's very sad how things turned out.

PS: If Freddie Prinze were still here today, it would have been cool to see Freddie and Freddie Jr. doing a movie together or a new comedy show. They probably would have appeared together on a talk show also.
