Does anyone know who is in charge of the operation of Jackie Gleason's estate? Also, how did MPI become the distributor of the Honeymooners lost episodes?

I believe Jackie's daughter, Geraldine, is still in charge of the company. His stepson, Craig Horwich, is also involved, though I'm not sure what his position is exactly. MPI began distributing the Lost Episodes at some point in the late 80s, and Gleason probably worked out the deal himself shortly before he died. Since MPI has such a long history with the Gleason estate, I guess they're the top choice when it comes to home video releases, seeing as how they've also distributed the color shows and reunion specials in recent years.

Thanks for the information! I didn't know there was someone from the immediate family that was in charge of Jackie Gleason's estate. I forgot that he had a daughter and I thought his wife died a short time after he did.

Craig Horwich is Marilyn Gleason's son. Marilyn is still living. Her sister, June Taylor (June Taylor dancers) died in 2004. Both Marilyn and Craig have bit parts in Smokey and the Bandit III:

Craig also produced the documentary, "Jackie Gleason: Genius at Work"
