I've read articles where Bonnie was very tough behind the scenes, sometimes considered a bit "difficult." Some critics said she was the female version of the late Carroll O'Connor. Which in my opinion isn't necessarily the best thing. If all this was true, do you think Hollywood blackballed her from major roles after One Day At A Time went off the air? OR do you think Ms. Franklin was just satisied in her financial security to not act as much in TV and movies?
