More McDrama! Jason George Returning to "Grey's Anatomy"

Jason George is returning to "Grey's Anatomy" for multiple episodes in Season 8, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

George, who recently starred on "Off the Map", will reprise his role as Ben, the anesthesiologist Bailey (Chandra Wilson) dated before having a come-to-Jesus moment in the aftermath of the Seattle Grace shooting.

Since then, Bailey has been getting pretty physical with Nurse Eli (Daniel Sunjata), so their reunion should be pretty awkward.

The news was first reported by TVLine.com.


"Grey's Anatomy" returns Thursday, Sept. 22 at 9/8c on ABC.

At least one doc definitely won’t be checking out of Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. "Grey’s Anatomy" has promoted Jason George, who plays Bailey’s husband Ben, to series regular for Season 12, TVLine has confirmed.

The actor tweeted on Friday, “Thank you, @ShondaRhimes! Y’all are gonna have 2 deal w/me and the whole @GreysABC family for a while now!”
