The Owner of its "Sister Site" (hometheatreforum.com), who absolutly  FORBIDS  the posting of Bootleg Websites or even the subject of Bootleg DVDs actually ADMITTED on his site during a post about Batman that the ONLY people benefitting from the Fiasco that is preventing the release this series on DVD is (Drumroll Please)........

   :rotflmao: :brent THE BOOTLEGGERS!!! :brent :rotflmao:

He also said, "This is what ultimately happens when products such as this are held up in legal red tape and withheld from the customer."

As I said, I believe the Detroit Lions will win the Super Bowl before the other four "Grails" make it to DVD! :D

I was wondering if that was the sitcom being referred to. Let's think, though: what other sitcoms have been on BET but not for the last couple of years? None are coming to mind...

Well, we can't even get one channel with our antenna (the joys of rural living) and there is no cable. We have to pay for Dish or Directv. I wish we could get a channel that offers classic shows like RTV or Antenna TV. :(

I also wish they'd release more of The Love Boat and Benson on DVD.

It looks like you're going to get at least part of your wish. Amazon.com has seasons 5 and 6 of The Bob Newhart Show up for pre-order although no release date has been posted for either title.

Yup, he did many guest spots and such in the 80s and he was always folically-challenged. He actually played a patrolman on an episode of The Streets of San Francisco in 1973 and was wearing a full hairpiece. When I watched that episode for the first time a couple of years ago, I nearly did a spit take. It looked more like a helmet on him than a hairpiece!! He's one of the few balding guys on TV who could pull that balding look off. :D
