I'd like to know is there any shows that you watch that you enjoy but maybe some episodes you couldnt stand. Ex. for me is The Simpsons. I love, love that show but one episode that annoyed me was the one that I saw tonight. Its the one where Lisa was babysitting Bart and Bart was really aggravating Lisa and Bart slipped and fell down the stairs. So Bart gets a bump on the head and locks himself in his room. He then bangs his head to make the bump bigger. Also, to prove that Lisa is a bad babysitter.

Now, Bart broke his arm but I tell you he was so annoying and rude in that episode that if I was Lisa, I would have broken his other arm. My point of all this is that I love The Simpsons but the episode annoyed me.

Do you guys have any episodes of your favorite shows that you couldnt stand?

I hate the episode of Everybody Loves Raymond with the girl scout cookie stand and Peggy. Drives me nuts!

For The Wonder Years, I'll say the following eps:

(1) Kevin runs for class president against nemesis Becky Slater and loses badly,

(2) Karen is rebellious on the eve of her 18th birthday and Jack takes out all his anger on Kevin and Wayne

(3) they tear down Harper's Woods, and Kevin writes on Principal Diperna's desk, and the pigheaded principal won't let Kevin explain

(4) when Kevin is on the yearbook committee, and he uses the words "Oink oink" to describe a fat student. Diperna threatened Kevin with detention for, well, exercising his right to free speech. (Of course, Kevin is at fault here, too; he should have stayed on Diperna's good side after he comforted Kevin after his algebra teacher Mr. Collins passed away!)

I'll include just about any episode from the last two seasons after Kevin started senior high school. There are exceptions, but only a handful.

the battle of evermore ep of that 70s show comes to mind

For The Waltons ...

(1) the episode in which Elizabeth imagines a poltergeist/ghost in her bedroom prior to her 13th birthday

(2) the episode in which the family pays close attention to the abdication of the British throne by King Edward VIII (one of the Edwards; I don't know my British history) to marry Wallis Simpson--it was so uncharacteristic of the series

(3) the episode in which the Walton house burns down (I enjoyed my drama with the show, but a burning house was WAY TOO MUCH!!!)

Oh, and all the episodes from Seasons 8 and 9 (the last two) in which Rose, Jeffrey, and Serena Burton stole the spotlight from the Waltons qualify.

The Golden Girls is one of my favorite shows, it's like number two on my list. Despite that, there are several episodes of the show I can't stand.

-Empty Nest-That episode is very disliked by many Golden Girls fans because it's not about the girls but about their neighbors. The girls make appearances in the episode but it's not focused on them. The episode was an indoor pilot for the series Empty Nest except when Empty Nest debuted it had a completely different cast. Not one of the best episodes in my opinion.
-I'm not too fond of the episode Nice and Easy, almost the entire episode is about Blanche's niece who is loose.
-I don't care much for the episode Love, Rose. I don't know why, I just find it kind of boring. It's where Dorothy and Blanche try to find Rose a date.
-I am not to fond of the episode Bringing Up Baby. Rose inherits a pig from her uncle and all the girls care about is the money that comes with him when he dies. They are so mean to the pig and don't even put Rose's feelings into consideration.

On Home Improvement there is only one episode that I don't care for and I always skip it, it is called Birds of a Feather Flock to Tim. I just find it dull and boring. It's just Tim and these two old guys sitting at the bar talking. It's kind of dumb.

Frasier is like my favorite show right now and there are a lot of episodes that I don't care much for, but there are so many that I won't go into it right now. I will try to add them later when I have more time.

On The Cosby Show, the one episode I don't care much for is the Hillman episode. It's so dull and boring. I know it's supposed to be like a special episode with Clair singing and famous people making speeches, I just found it a real snoozefest.

There are a lot more I can think of but I have to actually go through DVD's and look, so I will add more later.

King Of Queens-- Lush Life-- Doug and Arthur get Carrie drunk every night
so she won't be so bitchy

I Love Lucy-- The Ricardo's Dedicate a Statue- The last half hour show.

American Dad - Best Little Horror House in Langley Falls. This episode is weak and contained a lot of elements that aren't present in a normal ep of American Dad. The "Terry Gaga" joke and the use of Black Eyed Peas' 'I Gotta Feeling' seemed incredibly out of place.

Punky Brewster---Practically all of the later episodes where Punky goes gaga over some boy. I know she was getting older and going through puberty, but having her chase after some boy and act flighty was in stark contrast to the independent, feisty girl we saw in the beginning. I also didn't care for the two-parter that had Punky being taken away from Henry after he got sick and staying at the rich couple's house. The couple was given every rich stereotype under the sun (having to dress up for dinner, being cold and unemotional, materialistic, etc.)

The Golden Girls ---I also didn't like Bringing Up Baby either.
-Blanche and Sophia fighting over the same guy, he dies and they learn he was seeing practically every woman in town except Dorothy and Rose.
-The one where Blanche's old babysitter comes to visit and she learns she had an affair with her father.
-Miles turns out to be a mob informant or something to that effect. It seemed that the writers were trying to find the most out-of-left-field way to break up Rose and Miles, which was a shame because I really liked their relationship. This episode and the one above, it's like the writers were turning the show into this soap opera for senior citizens with long-kept secrets and people being not who they were. It was a bit too much.

Buck Rogers ---Shgoratchx! The one where little dwarves with magic powers were running amok on the Searcher. This was probably a way for Felix Silla to do something else besides play Twiki, but it was a pretty silly and boring episode.

Doctor Who ---The Unicorn and the Wasp. I'm not sure who else watches this show but here's all you need to know: the alien menace of the week is a priest who changes into a werewasp when he gets angry, and he was conceived when his alien wasp father impregnated his human mother. Usually, that type of stuff I can roll with, but the entire episode was so badly written, the acting by some of the supporting cast was horrible and even David Tennant looked embarrassed to be filming it. I can only suspect some very strong drugs were going around at the time this was written.

One Seinfeld that comes to mind is "The Kiss Hello". Im sorry, I agree with Jerry 100%. I mean I dont want some stranger that I really dont talk to me, kissing me. And Jerry is wrong??!!! I dont think so.

Webster - almost all of the post-ABC-era eps., especially the series finale, which was kinda disappointing. The whole family going on a Star Trek-like episode? WTF?! And the eps. that had Nicky on there were also pretty awful, too. And the San Francisco 2-part ep. in S5 was uninspiring, IMO.

But the ABC-era eps. I disliked was the S3 2-part ep. where they go on a ranch. The even more scarier part about this ep. was that Emmanuel Lewis almost got kicked the by the horse in real-life.

The 2-part ep. w/ the Doll and empty room was somewhat creepy.

Punky Brewster - I agree about the post-NBC-era eps.

Mr. Belvedere - the infamous Camp Counselor episode, IMO is arguably one of the most controversial moments in the history of TV sitcoms, matter of fact, any TV sitcom that has an episode involving child molestation, automatically gets this nod, which brings me to.....

Diff'rent Strokes - The ep. where Dudley gets molested is sick stuff. The worst part about this episode was that the molester is played by none other than Gordon Jump, bka Mr. Carlson from WKRP...of all-people.

That '70s Show - the 8th season episode that pretty much ruined the chance of the 8th season to not be totally bad (IMO) was the one where Randy is making out w/ Donna...in Eric's old room. Talk about classless.

Chico and the Man - pretty much all of the post-Freddie Prinze episodes in the minds of many CatM fans.

Sanford and Son - the Redd Foxx-less eps. during the middle to tail end of the 1973-74 TV season when Grady was in charge. I liked Grady, but to focus too many episodes on him, IMO I'm sorry but Grady wasn't the brightest tool in the shed and giving him his own spin-off show proved why Grady did not work as a strong lead character.

For Coach:

(1) The two-part episode in which Mary Hart on some show called "Up Close" interviews Hayden. Talk about a snooze-fest!

(2) the episode when the Screaming Eagles go to a bowl game, and one of the media people accidentally makes a big piece of pottery fall on Luther, and he has to go to the hospital.* Just play the game and don't focus on Luther--it's a comedy, not a drama, for crying out loud!

(3) the episode in which the Orlando Breakers go to Buffalo to play the Buffalo Bills, and they eat chicken wings, and they get sick.* After that I put the Bills on my list of most hated sports teams. (They have since come off.) Like I said in #2, just play the game!

* - Had Coach been a reality show, we would not have had to deal with those inconveniences and distractions that threw the plot into chaos. All would have gone "according to Hoyle" and we would have been treated to normal games. No wonder reality TV is so big!

For Perfect Strangers:

(1) "The Karate Kids" - in which the cousins are at a bar, and Larry gets beat up at the end.

(2) "The Break In" - in which the cousins go to the "Chicago Chronicle" building in the middle of the night to retrieve something.

(3) "Just A Gigolo" - I hated the scene with Larry dressed in drag.

(4) "Dog Day Mid Afternoon" - I hated the scene with the cousins trapped at the office and a bomb ready to go off.

(5) "The Men Who Knew Too Much" (two-parter) - Why did they have to throw the murder into the plot, instead of the cousins simply having fun in Los Angeles?

(6) "It Had To Be You" - The plot of Balki proposing to Mary Ann was somewhat forced IMHO. Mary Ann's "Goodbye" at the end of the previous episode should have been her last appearance.

"Perry Mason"-This is one of my favorites from the 1950's-1960's,but there were two episodes I didn't like-Both were TV adaptations of Erle Stanley Gardner's "Perry Mason"novels-,1963's "The Case of the Bigamous Spouse",and 1964's "The Case of the Ice-Cold Hands".The same titled books were FAR better than the episodes.

That AITF episode is a least favorite for me also. I wish they didn't write that episode. It was a situation comedy!!

i can not watch the xmas one they schould just had beverly enjoy the holidays with the Bunkers see them try watch football together would of been funny im mad they killed her off like that totally ruined the holidays n that episode for me as well.

and edith bunker 50th bday that was disturbing haunting and just bad to watch i can not enjoy that one part two was ok i would of liked to see Archie n Mike give that rapist a good beatdown for what he did to edith.

For Laverne and Shirley:

(1) the episode in which the bottlecappers were flying from Milwaukee to Baltimore to see the Packers play the Colts (remember, this was before Bob Irsay moved them to Indianapolis and Art Modell moved the Browns to the Charm City!), and the airplane had problems and the girls had to land it. Darn it, I was expecting to see them at the football game! :mad:

(2) "Murder on the Moosejaw Express" in which the bottlecappers were headed up to Canada to promote Shotz Beer, only to discover a dead body on the train! What was worse is that the dead body provided a major part to the plot, not the girls' adventures in the Great White North which I had been expecting! SUPER LAME!!! (This would not have happened on a reality TV show!)

(3) "The Pl:blush: :blush: b:blush: :blush: Show" in which Laverne is a bunny for Hugh Hefner's sick legacy.

For Family Matters:

(1) the episode in which the women buy some shady shampoo, and it makes their hair fall out (a scene I found VERY TRAUMATIZING)

(2) the episode in which Carl and Harriette went to the airport to board a plane for a vacation, only to learn the flight was canceled because the company went "belly up." (I mean, couldn't the flight have honored their tickets--as well as the 100 or so other flyers? They can't cancel the flight like that! Hire a reality show staff to write, for crying out loud! I want to see a vacation episode, doggoneit!)

Full House- Kissing Cousins: The episode where Jesse's cousin Stavros comes to visit the family and is using them and up to no good. I can't remember everything he did but I remember him trying to make a move on Becky. That is one episode I'll purposely never rewatch because the plot is just ridiculous.

Half A Love Story: Rewatched this episode a while ago because I couldnt remember what it was about and all it ended up being was Jesse trying to get a girl but one of his other girls shows up when they are eating dinner, and the girl loses interest in Jesse. We never see this girl again, it did nothing to bring the show forward and it was 22 minutes I'll never get back.

*Green Acres-:1)A Husband for Eleanor-totally out of character for Lisa. 2)"The Cow Killer"-Lisa and Eb BOTH did things totally out of character *The Twilight Zone-1)Caesar and Me- A very mean-spirited episode with no moral ar all.The REAL bad guys-Dummy Caesar and that vicious kid named Susan got off scott free.They shouldn't have. 2)Cavendar is Coming- Again,mean spirited.Carol Burnett and the late Jesse White were wasted,in a virtual copy of Rod Serling's much better first seson 1960 episode "Mr.Bevis". *The Dick Van Dyke Show"-1)1966's "You Ought to Be In Pictures"-A very bad episode that started out ,surprisingly,fairly good. 2-1963's "Big Max Calvada"-Not funny at all.I liked it when Rob stood up to Big Max Calvada--the only good part of the episode.

For Head of the Class:

1. Feb. 1987: The Russians Are Coming, The Russians Are Coming - Eric Mardian had to be heavily convinced to be an alternate for the IHP Quiz Bowl team after Jawahraral got a major illness, and all Eric did was act like the typical tough guy jerk he always was until the very end of the episode. (Mission to Moscow was ten times better than this drek of an episode, IMO.)

2. Jan. 1989: First Date - Eric Mardian goes on his first date with Simone Foster (I'm sure a lot of you here know how I feel about her), and Eric acted like nothing but a jerk to her. I would have treated Simone with ten times more respect than Eric did if I ever got the chance to hang out with her.

3. Mar. 1990: Simone Goes Overboard - Simone Foster almost DROWNED! Yes, Dennis Blunden was nice enough to save her, but that alone is enough to make that episode on my least favorite HOTC ever list.

Might be in the minority here on this, I love happy days but the ones with Mork i can do without seeing them as they are my least favorite episodes,im sure theres a few others like the last season lol..Love Threes Company, all time favorite show but i don't like the Christmas one very much

"THE DICK VAN DYKE SHOW"- the episode "The bad old days" from the first season, and a couple parts of "The Alan Brady show presents" from season two

I would agree with you, but the network felt that a series only about the game wouldn't attract female viewers, so they added the love story and soap-opera elements for the gals.:rolleyes:
