I was reading an article online about Kari Lynn Nixon's murder and it said that Robert Jones is up for parole this year. Anyone know of what happened with his parole? They've already set up a Facebook support page asking people to write letters to the parole board to help stop Robert Jones from getting released:

I've read contradictory info on the wall postings about whether the parole hearing is in August or December, but I'm guessing December since there doesn't seem to be any news about it this month.

From the postings on the wall, it seems many people are uncertain about when the date of the actual parole hearing is, but I'm presuming it hasn't happened yet or they would have posted some news about it.


I'll have to look for that Facebook support page. I've also found the following article online, saying that parole is in August, so I guess anytime now. Oh, and the last paragraph in this article made me sick...

Upon further inspection of the Facebook wall, it seems that the parole hearing was scheduled to take place in August, and that if parole was granted, Jones would be released in December. Maybe the hearing has already happened and they're keeping the results confidential (which wouldn't bode well for parole being denied, unfortunately).

I read that article above. What a POS he is. I hope he gets murdered in prison.

Did you see anything that stated whether or not he's up for parole again in the future?

There is no justification for letting this dirtbag out of prison. None whatsoever.

That's WONDERFUL to hear. I saw this thread earlier and was worried that he was out.
