What I saw today was just AWFUL-lol I'm amazed at how things changed in 5 years going by the Jeffersons episode I recorded from the 2006 Labor Day Marathon.
The episode I watched today had 4 commercial breaks which is way too many for a half hour show. So this is defintely not the channel to view the Jeffersons anymore
I will sample TV One's airing of the Jeffersons tomorrow to see how they air the show.

I would be curious to see how long it is with the commercials removed.
I once taped Wagon train off the Hallmark channel and when I timed it with all the commercials removed It was 38 minutes. 38 minutes for an hour long show, thats sad.

So they should just say that they are airing clips of the Jeffersons.

It is ridiculous how much commercial time there is on TV these days. People are paying high fees for cable and satellite TV, and the commercial time just keeps gradually increasing. It's all a big rip-off. But as long as the people keep paying, it will not stop. All we can do is cancel our cable and satellite TV, watch DVD's and whatever channels that can be seen for free.

Once I complete seasons 7 to 11 on DVD from TV One I would need to watch cable anymore to see the Jeffersons. But that won't be until this time next year

I am so glad. The Jeffersons just started airing on a local channel here in Memphis earlier this week. It is much better than what's on TV Land. If you live in Memphis, it is on WLMT CW 30 at 11:30 PM every night and also at 8 and 8:30 PM Saturday nights.
