"Two and a Half Men": Courtney Thorne-Smith Returning

Jon Cryer’s Alan may be getting a second chance at love on "Two and a Half Men".
The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Courtney Thorne-Smith has booked a recurring role on the eagerly anticipated ninth season.
Thorne-Smith will reprise her role as Lyndsey McElroy, a former flame of Cryer’s Alan.
She first appeared late in Season 7 and returned in Season 8 as Lyndsey, the mother of Jake’s (Angus T. Jones) best friend Eldridge and Alan's girlfriend.
