Do any of you kind of see yourself relating to any cases shown on UM whether it be details about the case, people involved in the case, etc?

For me, I kind of relate to a few:
Chad Langford-caughty my eye since I plan to go into the military once I finish school.
Lights over Phoenix-I was born in Phoenix and I have a lot of relatives that live there. Maybe they might have seen those lights that night lol

I feel like Randall Utterback's case relates to me because I have been stalked. It is an unpleasant experience. It never escalated to that violent a level though

In a way, I can relate to the Kurt Sova case because I was a party once where I got sick from drinking too much and ALSO didn't know most of the people there (of course they thought it was funny) but I don't believe I've ever drank Everclear like he did and I wasn't totally incapacitated as he must have been after drinking and ingesting who knows what else.

Kurt drank Everclear? Where did we learn this?

Any case of clingy boyfriends and their phone calls gives me chills. I've been the subject of that (and not even from boyfriends!) from persistent guys and it's just upsetting. Thankfully, it never went to violence, either.

I have been stalked before. a boyfriend in college became really clingy. so I got creeped out and decided to break it off. he just wouldn't leave me alone!! crazy phone calls, emails, IM's. on AIM he threatened to come over to my house and kill me. my Brother had a chat with him and he left me alone. but it's an experience I'll never forget.

Having worked in a convenience store during my early 20's not because I wanted to but out of financial necessity, I can relate to the Debra Poe case. Luckily the place I worked at ( 7-11) always had a rule to have two clerks on duty during all shifts so I was never alone. But there were a few times I got spooked working at night due to people hanging outside the parking lot and acting really suspicious.

It was mentioned in the 1991 Cleveland Plain-Dealer newspaper article talking about the 10th anniversary of his death. It's linked in the thread on here that's simply titled, "Kurt Sova".
