"Dexter": Jordana Spiro Books Multi-episode Arc

Showtime’s "Dexter" is building up quite the religious following for Michael C. Hall’s titular character to battle this season.
The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Jordana Spiro has booked a multiepisode arc on the Showtime drama as a devoted follower of Colin Hanks’ Travis and Edward James Olmos’ Professor Gellar.
Olmos’ Gellar is a brilliant, charismatic professor of religious studies, while Hanks’ Travis will be Dexter’s central nemesis – a highly intelligent ancient artifacts expert who is linked to a series of grisly slayings in Miami.
"My Boys" star Spiro most recently appeared on NBC’s "Harry’s Law".
"Dexter" premieres Oct. 2 at 9 p.m. on Showtime.
