if she broke her leg while film'n Strange Voices, how come we never saw her leg in a cast

Hmmm, I haven't heard that before. She broke her leg during filming? Maybe it was just a stress fracture that didn't require a cast. But you couldn't tell, she was up and all over the place in the movie.

It's ironic that you brought up the subject of "Strange Voices" because the other day I came across a webpage by some guy who has done "extras" work in movies and he was in this movie with Nancy. He played the guy sitting directly behind her in the school room scene. I watched my tape and lo and behold, there he was , looking just like his pic on his site. Anyway, I emailed him the other day asking about what it was like filming, if he got to talk to Nancy, etc. I haven't heard back from him but when (and if) I do, I'll post what he says here.

Hmmm, all I know is that she wore the cast in the FOL eps Down & Out in Malibu. To be honest, I haven't seen strange voices. She didn't wear a cast in that movie?

Maybe they stopped filming...? -shrugs- dunno

I was under the understanding that she broke her foot or ankle... Either way, she did wear a cast in FOL. It was during the second part "Down and Out In Malibu" episodes. The first part of these had Jo moving to LA, and then the second part had her calling Blair for help and in jail with a cast on her foot. During that second part where she watched that man's house for him she had an ankle cast on...those two parts were shot in wo different seasons, during that off season is when Nancy broke her ankle/foot...

My thinkings are:

1. She broke her foot/leg after they had finished filming.
2. She broke her foot and they stopped filming for it and resumed it.
3. She broke her foot somewhere else and somone working for the Nat'l Enquirer in 1987 made up all of the strange voices stuff
