PLEASE READ THAT BEFORE COMMENTING HERE.

If they weren't willing to shift everything down an hour to put Friends on at 10 (bumping My Wife and Kids), I would've put Friends on at 11pm.

So I would have either done this:
8:00pm - George Lopez
9:00pm - That '70s Show
10:00pm - Friends
11:00pm - My Wife and Kids

or...

8:00pm - My Wife and Kids
9:00pm - George Lopez
10:00pm - That '70s Show
11:00pm - Friends

Not a horrible schedule, I just wish there was more diversity. Remember when there was a different show in each half hour from 8pm-2am or later 9pm-3am?

they are huirting themselves. I imagine quite a few people won't watch because of that. I know I won't.

I hate the off the clock programming and it sucks that there's not as much Family Matters or Everybody Hates Chris. Those are my two favorite shows on Nick at Nite.

If they went back to only allowing 5 minutes of so of commercials per half hour,there would be no off the clock programming.I dont watch these stations anymore but noticed TV Land now runs almost their entire schedule off the clock.I don't understand why anyone would even care what these stations are going to air,considering you're only going to see very heavily edited versions of the shows.

Is it too much to ask that Nick-at-Nite show Friends in ORDER? The first week of regular episodes is up on my DVR and you couldn't be more random if you tried... 2 eps from Season 3 airs on 9/12, then the Season 6 finale on 9/13, then a Season 5 episode on 9/14, then the Season 8 finale on 9/15 :rolleyes: I like the marathon episodes but good grief. I thought they'd go in order... That 70's Show and The Nanny does I know.

As far as I know, 9/11(Sunday) is fan faves and then 9/12 starts regular episodes in the regular timeslots... but I hope that's what it is.

Edit to add: Season 5 finale airs on 9/16... can't help but notice they're airing most of the 2-parters early. Maybe it is a stunt, they can't be this stupid... 3 of the episodes are very random though and don't fit with the 2-parters, so *shrug*

It is a stunt. I saw the promo. They're airing episodes that feature a different friend each night of the week. For example, Monica on Monday, Joey on Tuesday, etc. At least that's the vibe I got from the promo.

Just looked, and N@N is airing Friends in full HD! According to a blog here a couple of months ago, the show wasn't suppose to start airing in HD on TBS or locals until the show's next cycle in syndication in 2013, but I guess the N@N cycle doesn't apply? The show has never looked better!

You're right! This marathon brought back a lot of memories for me. They haven't scheduled the pilot or finale yet, hopefully because they're saving it for the real first cycle.

The finale airs on Sunday as part of the fan faves night... havent seen the pilot scheduled yet or most of the 1st season in general

No matter what network they were to stick FRIENDS on, it would probably be a big hit! I'd be perfectly okay with N@N picking up more shows from the '90s like this if it means seeing them for the first time in true HD! Come on, Boy Meets World!

Well, I watched the Friends marathon last night. I noticed that they aired the full version of there theme song, not the short one that airs on TBS and syndication. Also, on a very, very minor note, the music that intros the next scene sounded different.
One thing that did bother me was the usual starting off the clock!!!:mad: :mad:
There was one thing that was edited that I noticed. The episode which I think is titled "The One where Ross and Rachel you know" the scene where Ross and Rachel are kissing in Monica's apartment and Rachel starts laughing, they edited the part when Rachel says "Will you just grab my ass!" Maybe I missed it but I dont think that was said on Nick at Nite.

I will say, and I dont know if you have this but I have 2 Nick at Nites. One Nick at Nite is a regular Nick at Nite which has been on for years. The other one is the samething only they start there programming later. For ex., if this Friends marathon started at 8pm and lasted to 1am on Nick at Nite, the other Nick at Nite would show the marathon from 1am to 6am. Its basically the same channel only they start there programming later. I was watching Friends at 7 and 8am this morning which I thought was pretty cool.

That would be the west coast feed, I also have it since I have DirecTV. It's not in HD but it's still a great alternative(especially in a few weeks once I'm watching more primetime TV on the networks)

Definitely looks like a stunt the first week of regular episodes... Sunday 9/18 is Season 4 and Season 7's 1-hour finales.. Curious to see if 9/19 starts from the beginning as that will about cover the "big" episodes.

You guys enjoy it. I just don't care to watch. It is a funny show but I have yet to sit and watch. I'd rather see something else on NAN. However, if you like it, then watch.

Friends from the beginning starting Monday, go through the entire first season next week.
