Hey All,

I live in Milwaukee Wisconsin and my cable provider TWC gets its data for all shows from Tribune Media Services. Off and on, for the last several months, TBNS listings on ME-TV do not always correspond to the listings provided by Tribune Media Services.

I have a theory, and am not sure about this, but on two occasions, I have seen the wrong episode played at about the time the episode, "Some of My Best Friends Are......." appears in the schedule. Because this episode deals with a gay man joining Bob's group, is it possible that ME TV is skipping over this episode for politically correct reasons? Can anyone research and let the board know, if this episode is being skipped in ME-TV's rotation?

However, if it is NOT being skipped, what is the reason why TBNS sometimes is not showing the right data based on the episode being aired? Was an episode lost or damaged in syndication causing it not to be aired? Tribune Media Service, does not know about it, and it is causing the listing errors? Generally, it takes whoever is responsible for the listing errors, about 2-3 weeks for them to get correct again, until the episode above comes back in the rotation.

What feedback about this is currently known? Watch TBNS on METV if it is in your market, and compare it to the guide data from time to time. See if it's different, and why after they change it, it doesn't stay correct?

I wish I could help you. I don't think that channel in my company's extensive channel line-up.

Is there a website for the network? Most have a "schedule" in their website and you can follow that instead of your cable's guide.

They sure are messed up! I have Time warner and not only are the descriptions of the shows worng but the show titles aren't even right. For instance, when the guide says I Love lucy it means the Lucy show instead and many times it will say one show and its an entirely different one.
Over the weekend, I had the DVR set for The Odd Couple which turned out to be Cheers and sometimes it is St Jude's paid show.
