Well, I saw episode one of season eight of Friends last night (I live in the UK, so we get new seasons a lot later than America) and I was really shocked at how bad it was.

I did not laugh ONCE during the whole episode and didn't even smile, either.

What the heck has happened to this show? It used to be so funny and fresh but last night I couldn't wait for the episode to end because I was so bored and I am a HUGH fan of the show.

If this is the way that Friends is going to carry on, I don't think I will continue to watch. I'm really sad that the quality has gone so down hill, so fast.

Does anyone else feel the same way about this show?

That's funny, the general consensus on this side of the pond is that Friends has gotten BETTER this season. If you're just watching episode one, just relax, it gets better. Some of the episodes have been good, and the friends appear to be holding up rather well after eight seasons. That's some feat considering it's against Survivor.

What episode did u see? What was it about?

I have seen about the first fifteen episodes of Friends and let me tell you it gets better. Episode one was pretty boring and not very funny but the continuing storyline this season makes it worth watching plus it is still very funny. Trust me keep watching. Some of my personal favourites

I have to say that so far i am enjoying the new series of Friends here in the UK i think that it has just gotten better and better as the series has gone on,

I have to say, I've been watching Season 8, and after the first episode it did get better and now I actually like Friends again. Yay! Lol.
