I thought Janet was the most attractive roommate of them. Joyce DeWitt is a naturally attactive woman. The first three seasons of the show they made Janet look plain and the way they dress did injustice to Joyce DeWitt. When season 4 rolled around and Joyce got rid of that godawful perm Janet became mroe appealing. During the Priscilla Barnes seasons (my favorite seasons of the show) Janet became a hottie with longer hair and those short skirts she was wearing.

Three's Company was a great ensemble show where the three roommates made the show. I did not like Cindy and glad she did not stick around during the duration of the show. I did not like how they wrote Chrissy at the end where she became over the top stupid in season 4. I like Chrissy in seasons 1 and 2 but I saw the over the top stupidness unraveling in season 3. Season 4 it went full tilt.

I didn't find Janet as attractive in the first three seasons, but by Season 4, she really got to be good looking. I thought Chrissy was ok in the first two seasons, just so-so in the third, and really annoying in the fourth. I actually liked Cindy ok. Terri was probably my favorite of the blondes.

Janet was never ever ever ugly. You need to have your eyes checked. She had a great body, and she had the most classically attractive face. I do agree Terry was pretty, but being a blonde gives negative points for me, as I prefer brunettes and redheads. If Terry had been a brunette, she would have really been beautiful.

Chrissy a bleached blonde with a great body. She was really something in a nighty, just like Jack said, while Janet got long moo moos and other unflattering sleep wear to cover up her imperfection. Sure, she got to wear one or two revealing nighties, but she doesn't have Chrissy's perfect body.

As far as Chrissy's tragedy... you know, the brain-eating virus that got progressively worse as the seasons went on, it seems to also have affected her hairstyle and heavier make-up usage. The once fresh, pretty face turned into layers of makeup with weirdo hairstyles.

What was Jack's girlfriend's name? The one that stayed with them and Janet didn't show up that episode? That girl was very nice. I have a soft spot for redheads, so this girl rates way up there, but I don't think we can count her as a real roommate.

Cindy. I think she has the greatest body of all the female roommates and a nice face as well. I keep hoping those tight sweaters will burst open. The problem with her was her clumsy act. It gets old very fast. I personally don't care if Jack had tried to flirt with her. She was 18 at least, so she was old enough. Now-a-days we got 90-year-old actors paired with 20-year-old girlfriends in movies *not that I think it's great*.

But when things work out for Janet, what she has is more lasting and true than the fake affection the other girls receive just because a guy is attracted to their good looks

If you watch her in the episode where that high school jock comes to date her, watch her after she's wearing that 'almost Holstein' dress, notice her breasts, they aren't quite symmetrical. One is a lot lower than the other. Just something I can't help notice every time I see that episode.

I think "Janet" is/was attractive though to me not a great beauty. Chrissy to me was adorable in the first seasons, I don't know what they did to her looks and personality after that. I loathed that side-pony tail and snort laugh. But Chrissy really is a pretty girl in the first seasons, with a cute figure. Cindy also was willowy and attractive, Terri was my least favorite of all the roommates. She had the personality of dry toast and her looks were attractive but not stunning. Of course beauty as they say, is in the eye of the beholder.

I know Chrissy/Suzanne is not popular here but I thought she was darling at the start of the show had great chemistry with Jack and I always missed the character when she (Suzanne) left the show.

Looking back now, I put Janet first and Chrissy second. I love Chrissy in the earlier years and I also hated that pigtail and snort. Terri is next and Cindy last.

As others have already mentioned Janet in the first 3 seasons looked plain and hippyish with the perm but by season 4 as the 1980's were rolling around she really dolled herself up and became even hotter, the short hair suited her better than the long hair she would have later.

Cindy never did it for me, sorry she looked gangly.

In my opinion Three's Company was out during a time where girls were very attractive back in that 70s and early 80s period where girls had a pure natural look to them. I started noticing around the last year or two of the show that the ridiculous hairstyles started to change and started taking the beauty away from women like it did in the mid-to-late part of the 80s.

The other roommates were attractive as well although they could not beat Janet.

I am not a big fan of this show, although I do like John Ritter very much, and Norman Fell was funny as s***, especially him mugging for the camera. But I thought the show just, sorry sucked. Everything was a misunderstanding, that was the show every week. I am also happy that it gave Don Knotts a good paying job in what should have been the effective end of his career. Whoever said after the Ropers left, "hey, let's call Don Knotts..." was a genius. But this is off the subject.

Saying that, I watched the pilot of the show a few years ago, with Chrissy and Janet in their bed T-shirts and shorts, and went, damn Joyce Dewitt was fine! Much better looking and prettier than Suzanne Somers. Somers had a knockout body. She wasn't that beautiful. Not ugly by a stretch, but just average to me.

I like dark haired, tan skinned, brown eyed women. They can be Italian, Hispanic, Meditterian, Arabic, Jewish, Indian, or Asian. The darker the hair and the eyes the more beautiful they are, especially the hair. One girl I LOVE on TV is Kate Miccuci. She is gorgeous. So you get my drift of what I like (and I am married to a Chinese woman.)

Jack and Janet did go out on a date in 1 episode. I don't remember which one. They would have made a great couple but you are right that the writers messed it up.

LOL! you notice that too, eh? yeah with the advent of DVD's although not as sharp as Hi-Def but you can almost make out her grody teeth, the same with Norman Fell in close-ups.

I'll have to take your word about it concerning Chrissy'e teeth. I have each of the Three's Company seasons she was on the show on DVD and although I have seen each season about 3 times each, I don't normally look above Chrissy's shoulders.

I think Suzanne Somers was really pretty until the part of 3rd/all of 4th season when she became almost a caricature of herself with the heavy makeup and white hair.

I know I am in the minority here, but I kinda liked Janet's permed hair in season 2 and 3. I thought it looked cute pinned back in a couple episodes. The hair she had later on was kind of harsh, I thought.

Cindy had a great look from the neck down. I thought she looked almost piggish in some scenes....those wide crazy eyes! Not attractive.

I pretty much agree on a lot of replies here: Terri was very attractive, Cindy not so much, and not a fan of Janet's buzzed haircut. I disagree strongly with Yong Fang on Chrissy. In Season 1 especially, Suzanne had about the most gorgeous face (& hair) I could imagine, and of course a VERY fine body (see also her guest shot on The Six Million Dollar Man -- very hot).

Janet just has more substance to her personality. As far as I can tell, all Chrissy has going for her are her looks. Okay, she also has a good heart, but a lot of women out there have a good heart. Janet has a good heart too.

Her face is actually rather plain or "manish." The sexy, ditzy character she played must have been a draw back then, and then the media tends to meld "sexy" and "beautiful" together so SS becomes the "sexy and beautiful" woman who played Chrissy on Three's Company. John Ritter has done a lot since and even up before he died, he proved he wasn't wooden and he not only can do comedy but drama as well. Hooperman was a sitcom but with some serious moments and he did independent films. He had range and was a funny man but he can be serious.

Looking on the covers now, I have to agree with you on Chrissy. I liked her on her on the cover of season 2 but after that, forget it. I liked how you ranked the women and it is right. Terry is the hottest.
