A while back, I posted a thread called "Caroline's Debut". This was to commemorate the number of views of a previous thread that made me think of the year that "Caroline in the City" came on the air. I miss that series about as much as I miss "Gimme a Break!". I would say that Lea Thompson's character from that show was about equal to Julie from this show in terms of being able to make me drool! In any event, although I would have liked to see some responses to that thread, I think that it is very fitting that it presently has twelve views. This is because twelve years ago, the show ended! Although it was hard saying goodbye to that series, what was even harder to digest was the fact that "Mad About You" ended the same season! Helen Hunt will probably always be my favorite actress ever! One thing that there has been very little conversation about is peoples' points of view about her getting passed over for the part of Katie from "Gimme a Break!". Given how much substance and decency she has expressed through the parts that she has played since then, I would have a hard time picturing her as someone as shallow and self-centered as Katie Kinisky! Any thoughts anyone?
