Today marks the 10th Anniversary of the plane crash in the Bahamas that tragically killed Aaliyah. May she rest in peace.
January 16, 1979-August 25,2001

I blame Luis Morales (the pilot on that awful night) and Black Hawk International Airways, the company he worked for. Morales may have been high on cocaine and alcohol when he was flying that plane, not to mention that Black Hawk International Airways had no idea that Morales had his pilot's license suspended due to possession of drugs and alcohol.

I still wonder if the plane crash was coincidence so that Aaliyah wouldn't get into the whole R. Kelly scandal which would show light two years later.
