Yesterday I started a thread titled "Flesh and Blood". This is a series that came out twenty years ago. It also ended the same year! In any event, the purpose of this thread was to commemorate the twenty views of my thread titled "Fat Albert". At this stage in the game, my "Flesh and Blood" thread now has nine views and zero replies. However, my "Fat Albert" thread is still holding at twenty. This being the case, I have decided to do another commemoration thread. Another show that came out twenty years ago was a sitcome called "Nurses". Was anyone here a fan of that show? It lasted for three seasons. Although it had some decent episodes, I did not think that it was nearly as good as "Gimme a Break!". That probably explains why it only lasted half as long!

Judging by the content of what you posted, I am guessing that what you are saying is that you do not remember the series that I wrote about in my innitial post. I would say that is quite understandable being that it only lasted three years, never made it to DVD (as far as I know), never had a series finale and never had a significant life in syndication. Never the less, in the twenty-one or so hours since you posted your reply, I am wondering if you did some research and got aquainted with the show. Like I originally posted, I did not think that it was nearly as good as "Gimme a Break!", but it was a way to kill half an hour on Saturday Nights.

As you can tell from my first post on this thread, at the time that I wrote it, twenty years had passed since the series known as "Nurses" made its debut. Well, now the number of years has climbed to twenty-one! On various other threads, I have mentioned the fact that, one show whose page is even slower than this one is "Mad About You". I look at the fact that a page about a show that featured the lovely little Helen Hunt is slow to be the eighth wonder of the world! In any event, last night I posted a thread on the "Mad About You" page and when I came back tonight, it had twenty-one views and zero replies. I decided to commemorate that reality by posting a new thread called "The Nurses Are Back". Right before I came here, I went back there and saw that my new thread had seven views and zero replies. I am now raising this one to the top to see if I can stimulate some conversation here. If I am successful, I will look at that as the nineth wonder of the world!
