Dylan Baker Returning to "The Good Wife"

Third time's a charm for Dylan Baker, who will return for the new season of "The Good Wife", TVGuide.com has confirmed.

Baker, who plays convicted killer Colin Sweeney, first appeared in Season 1 as a client of Alicia (Julianna Margulies), who got him off the hook for murder. He was, however, sent to prison for another murder in a later episode.

In Season 3, Sweeney is reportedly being sprung from jail to help Alicia with a case. TVLine.com first reported the news.



"The Good Wife" returns on Sunday, Sept. 25 at 9/8c on CBS.

"The Good Wife" is welcoming back one of its slimiest characters.

Sources confirm to TVLine exclusively that Dylan Baker has signed on to reprise his role as the shifty Colin Sweeney this spring.



Baker has appeared on "The Good Wife" four times, mostly recently in March 2012 episode when Lockhart Gardner defended the maybe-murderer in a sexual harassment case.

Baker’s initial "Good Wife" arc earned him a 2010 Emmy nomination for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series.
