Yesterday on YouTube, Kirk Cameron made a comment about Harry Houdini.

Houdini died of a ruptured appendix after being caught off guard after being punched in the stomach.

Per Kirk, "The Christians can be caught off guard. Scripture speaks about watching and being sober and vigilent, because the Devil walks about seeking who he may strike in the stomach. Each of us needs to have the strong, embraced muscle of a Holy lifestyle that can resist the Devil's blows."

Do you agree with Kirk's message, comparing God to Houdini?

If so, please respond.

He is not comparing God to Houdini; he is comparing the Christian who is caught off guard spiritually with Houdini who was caught off guard physically.
And, by the way, Harry Houdini (whose real name was Erich Weiss) was the son of Samuel Weiss, an immigrant from Budapest, Hungary, who became the first rabbi of the town of Appleton, Wisconsin. At an early age, Erich became fascinated with magic and took the name Houdini from the French magician, Robert Houdin. Harry Houdini died on Oct. 31, 1926.

I agree with TV Star. It was the Christian and not God himself. I'm sure Kirk knows enough about the the teachings from the lord to avoid making that comparison.
