Not a huge fan of theirs, but I have enjoyed a couple of their songs. Glad they are coming back. Thanks for sharing James.

I liked them around the time when they first made it big, back when their debut album 'Fallen' was released in 2003.

With the exception of Amy Lee all of the other original members of the band are gone. The band members either wanted to go in a different direction and Amy disagreed with them or they wanted to pursue other interests.

I heard a lot of stories that Amy Lee is a real bitch to work with. She fired John LeCompt for unconfirmed reasons and he doesn't look too fondly of his days with Evanescence today.

This is why they haven't released any new material since 2006. All of these disputes going on with Amy and not getting anything done - they went on "hiatus" for a bit.

The upcoming release of Evanescence's third album, which is self-titled, is generating a lot of industry and fan buzz. Considering that it's been five years since 'The Open Door', it's no wonder.

Evanescence has released the official artwork for the upcoming album, which drops October 4th.
