A couple of days ago, I started two new threads and both of them managed to generate some responses. I was very happy! Because there appeared to be some traffic going through this page, I decided to see if I could stimulate even more conversation by brining some of my old favorites to the top of the page. I tried this eight times and just look at how much success I have had! It is pretty clear to me that this page has pretty much been beaten into the ground and the people who had frequented it have simply gotten on with their lives. In any event, if you look at my thread titled "Roper's Car", you will see that it was a commemoration of the fifty-three views of my previous thread called "The Birth of Helen". Just in case anyone is wondering the purpose of that thread was to give credit to Helen Hunt who was considered for the part of Katie from "Gimme a Break!". In any event, the number of views of my "Birth of Helen" thread has now climbed to seventy-two. I have decided to see if I can stimulate some conversation by commemorating the fact that, in 1972 the Fat Albert cartoon made its debut. Is anyone hear a fan of that cartoon. I thought it was great! Just in case anyone is interested, thrity-six of the episodes of the original series have been uploaded onto Hulu. See you around!
