It's interesting, I've just got a tape in a trade with a load of DS episodes on that haven't been shown on Nick@Nite or trouble and I just watched "Arnold gets Mugged" episode and at the end it said

I wonder if he told the produers they had to let him make an episode. It was actually quite good, and it didn't have Maggie in it, they didn't even say were she was which shows even more that he never liked Dixie Carter.

Yep, it just aired today. I liked it. I think it was one of the better episodes in that season.

After a row of episodes of "Sam's Cute" storylines, they had 3 good episodes on series subject close together with the alcahol, mugging and eccilepsy.

I still think the episodes that dealt with series issues like this one were the best.
