Miranda Cosgrove Breaks Ankle in Tour Bus Accident

"iCarly" star Miranda Cosgrove is suffering from a broken ankle after her tour bus was involved in a car accident, People reports.

The crash occurred early Thursday morning on 1-70 just outside of Vandalia, Ill.

"There were five passengers on the bus, and Miranda suffered a broken ankle," her rep told the magazine. "At the time, we are told everyone will be fine."



Because of the 18-year-old's injury, the rest of her "Dancing Crazy Summer" tour has been postponed until "further notice," according to her rep. The tour was originally slated to run through Oct. 23.

Miranda Cosgrove has had a virtual career collapse which she says is all the result of 2 careless drivers ... a collapse that has cost her millions of dollars.

Cosgrove has just filed legal docs explaining why she's suing for so much money. She says the extensive injuries she suffered while on her tour bus that collided with a semi derailed 25 booked concerts, which would have netted her nearly $400,000.

Miranda says she lost another $560K in future shows. But there's more. The "iCarly" star says Sony Music dumped her after the accident because they were counting on her touring. And if that weren't enough, she says she lost a $400K Neutrogena contract as a result of her injuries.

All told ... Cosgrove's team says her losses could be as much as $2.5 million.
