Pardon me if this is not the correct board for this question. This is my first post ever on this site--so bear with me. I heard the last half of a news report on the radio so my info is sketchy. I thought I heard them say that a woman who had been on The Mary Tyler Moore Show had passed away. I wondered if anyone had heard this as well. If it is indeed true, can anyone fill in the details? I am particularly curious as to who it was. Thanks to anyone who can confirm or discount this for me.

Thanks for responding. I found out the scoop. It is true, the lady was Eileen Heckart and she played Mary's Aunt Flo. Thanks again. :)

Yes, that's right, Mary's Aunt Flo has died :-( One of the articles I read said that she never liked to do TV, she just did it so she could get the money to do theatre.
