Hey, has anybody ever heard the 1967 Valli?Seasons hit "Cmon Marianne"? It sounds like the later 1968-1969 Doors hit "Touch Me" [more remembered than the song that inspired its riff!]. It was a hit four the Seasons at EXACTLY THE SAME TIME as was "Can't Take my Eyes off You" for Valli himself! Donnie and Marie sang it,too.

Everytime I hear "I know you can, C'Mon Marianne", I'm, reminded of Gilligan, or BETTER< the SKIPPER hitting on GIlligan. Certainly Dawn Wells remembers that song, it hit right after GI was canceled!

I just checked it out on youtube and I have to say I've never heard it before and I always thought of myself as a bit of a late 60's early 70's aficionado. Thanks for pointing this one out.
