What is the item on Rob's desk at work that looks a little like a flying saucer? It is six sided or eight sided and sits between the magic eight ball and the telephone in most episodes. It doesn't look like an ashtray. I can't figure it out.

Just came across your post-- it's a thing that holds paper clips, thumb tacks, etc. I remember there being one on our family's desk back in the '60s.
