View Full Version : Today in 'Perfect Strangers' History: The Final Episode Ended With A Whimper Brian Damage 08-06-2011, 10:18 PM August 6th, 1993 - The final episode of "Perfect Strangers" aired on ABC http://www.sitcomsonline.com/photopost/data/687/80seasoneight-11.jpg catlover79 08-07-2011, 01:58 PM I remember that!!! I watched and taped the finale...I still love that show. :D QMygmZxukKA tomszAP7kuQ Ryan Chamberlain 08-16-2011, 06:54 AM It ended four days after my 6th birthday. Bummer since I adored the show. I remember watching the last episode when it aired. I disliked it then. But, I watched it about a year ago on YT. And, I realized...What a terrible dissappointing ending. I just hate that the guys setted down and had kids. The character progression was way too fast. I would have rather had it end with Larry getting a job at the New York Times or something. You know...Finally fulfilling his dream of becoming a big time journalist. It would have rocked like that. The whole 8th season was a bust. The whole 8th season was a bust. I second those emotions. Plus, we know Larry wanted to move up the ladder at the Chronicle, but why did they make him the editorial writer instead of moving him up the ranks of investigative reporters? He really earned it in the "The Men Who Knew Too Much." And yeah, I don't see Larry or Balki as fathers. They're both too much fun. Amanda Woodward 05-03-2012, 10:35 PM He could always work for NY Times in a reunion ;) catlover79 05-17-2012, 01:22 AM He could always work for NY Times in a reunion ;)   |
