Bet you didn't see this coming: Kim Kardashian's wedding will air on E! Shocking, right?

Kim's Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event will be broadcast in two parts on Sunday, Oct. 9 at 8/7c and the following day at 9/8c. The special will chronicle the planning and the day of the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star's nuptials to the New Jersey Nets' Kris Humphries.

The actual wedding will take place on Aug. 20.

yes, very shocking, considering how private she likes to keep her personal life :| ... Keeping Up with the Kardashians is probably one of the very few reality shows of this type I can actually tolerate... I don't go out of my way to watch it, but I see (parts of) it on occasion, during late night tv, and it does keep me mildly entertained (as I'm doing other things), instead of rushing to change channels because it's killing my brain... I'm quite fond of Kris (not this Kris - mother Kris), and that undoubtedly helps...

I'm embarrassed to say this but I'm totally looking forward to seeing this special. Kim's wedding should be over the top and ridiculous...my type of TV!

First off Kim got famous because of a videotape with rapper Ray J. Prior to that who had heard of her. I think the E channel should be called the Kardashian Network. Kim, Kourtney and Klohe all have reality shows, and the two Jenner girls will probably have one next. While we're at it, lets give Bruce Jenner a reality show. He has been living off his gold medal success for years now.

I saw some of the pre-wedding. Kim and her mother were making all kinds of plans for the wedding, and didn't consider anything the groom wanted. But the worst was when Kim's mother rented 2 Rolls Royces for the wedding party. When the groom (Kris) asked where his parents were going to ride, Kris Kardashian-Jenner just had a blank look on her face, and said OH, I didn't think about them. The groom, Kris just looked at her and said your kidding, right? I can't believe he went through with marrying into this family!!:rolleyes:

When is their 15 mintues of fame going to fade? Amazing that someone with no talent ....at all could have their on show and clothing line. Please go away and never come back...and take your ignoring family with you

Both Paris Hilton and Kate Gosselin have faded away.

It may not happen soon enough for us, but the Kardashins also will evenually fade away.

The wedding was done by Pastor Joel Johnson who is a family friend of Kris Humphries. He's a local pastor from Westwood Community Church.

He made a statement saying, "The couple requested a God-honoring, Christ-centered ceremony and gave me the freedom to share a message that upholds God's perspective on love that leads to a great marriage.

This is what I wish for Kim and Kris in their marriage, and for every marriage."

If you want to call it a marriage. It seems to me it was all a big staged production for the reality show! The dude is just using her. Saw online today that Mr. Obama wont let his daughters watch the Kardashians. This is one time I must side with the President. I wouldnt want my kids sitting around watching that fake reality crap either.

I have never seen such an explosion of popularity as this entire family. They're all raking in the dough while they can. I wouldn't be surprised if they're still just as popular 5 yrs frm now. I didn't think anyone could be any more popular than Paris Hilton for not doing squat.

After a lavish televised wedding and 72 days of marriage, Kim Kardashian has filed for divorce from pro basketball player Kris Humphries.

The 31-year-old reality TV star, who hired celebrity divorce lawyer Laura Wasser, cites irreconcilable differences and wants the court to reject any move by Kris to get spousal support, documents posted by TMZ show.

They reportedly signed a prenuptial agreement.





"After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage," Kardashian said in a statement to Ryan Seacrest.

"I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don't work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best."





The pair began dating in December 2010, got engaged in May and married in August. Their wedding was televised on E! as a two-part special, which some 4.39 million people and 3.98 million watched on Oct. 9 and 10, respectively.

This will be the second divorce for Kardashian who split from music producer Damon Thomas in 2004.

Also I heard that Kim had a fit because Kris wanted to move to Wisconson, and she refused. Sounds like she only cares about herself and her fame.

One day after she filed for divorce from Kris Humphries, her husband of 72 days, and left the country on a business trip, Kim Kardashian is making sure she tells her side of the story.

“I am trying not to read all the different media reports but it’s hard not to see all the negative ones,” Kardashian tweeted on Tuesday. “First and foremost, I married for love. I can’t believe I even have to defend this. I would not have spent so much time on something just for a TV show!”





She says that sharing the wedding with fans on E!’s two part wedding special in early October is just part of who she is and how the Kardashian family chooses to conduct their lives.

“We filmed Kourtney giving birth, Khloe getting married, break ups, make ups, our best moments and our worst moments,” she writes. “These were all real moments. That’s what makes us who we are. We share, we give, we love and we are open!”





She then goes on to describe the “rollercoaster” she was on as the wedding approached and expresses regret for not ending the relationship sooner.

“I got caught up with the hoopla and the filming of the TV show that when I probably should have ended my relationship, I didn’t know how to,” she reveals. “And didn’t want to disappoint a lot of people.”





Kardashian then ends her statement by saying that reports that she made millions off of her wedding are “simpy not true” and announced that she will be donating the money from her wedding gifts to the Dream Foundation.

Kim doesn't own the rights to the Ray-J porn tape.

What happened is that the video was somehow "leaked" by a 3rd party and Vivid Entertainment purchased the rights from those people.

Kim got word on what happened and sued Vivid for the rights, but ultimately decided to settle for $5 Million dollars.

I wonder if there's any hope that this sham of a wedding and Kardashian fans feeling "duped" will have any effect on the tv show and the "Kardashian Brand:rolleyes:". But the hardcore viewers will probably continue to tune in to see what happens next.

I went to Ace Frehley's book signing yesterday and in the store they have a big poster up advertising the Kardashian's appearance next week for their new book.

We were all talking (the people I was on line with) about if Kim is actually going to show up there with everything going on. They said they wouldn't be surprised if they cancel their book signing.

If Kim does show up (or even just the other 2) I imagine it'll be a big crowd.

As I expected earlier, Kim Kardashian pulled herself out of the book tour.

I went to the B&N this morning for Regis Philbin and the big Kardashian sign they had up the last time was replaced with Kourtney and Khloé only.

Now there's a "Boycott the Kardashian's" Facebook Page and a petition to get all the Kardashian shows of the air!!:lol:
