Hey guys I am new here :wave: big fan of the 60's TV Sitcom "The Addams Family", but just found this place! Been looking through the threads today so that is why some of the old topics have been knocked back to the top. Love reading what you all have to say and just seeing so many other Addams fans talking about the show is pretty cool.

Hope I am welcome here and plan on being a regular. I also have an "Addams-Like" website that might be of some interest. I have a site dedicated to the Newhall house, the house that became the look for "The Addams Family" home on the 60's sitcom. This is my favorite house and probably yours too! Doing my best to keep "The Addams" legacy alive :crazy:

Nice pics I've been looking for them, is this the house that was torn down so they only used the Mat print for the house? I was also interested in looking for pics of the house that was used in Halloween with the New Addams Family the reunion special from '78 I think.

It sure is - this house was used in the 1st season episode 1 only for exterior shots of the house. Then for the rest of the show they used a matte painting to depict the house, so that they could add the 3rd floor and tower (that we are so used to seeing). But this was the real house that was used for "The Addams Family" Show and in a sense, was the Real Addams Family House exterior wise (for the 60's TV Sitcom).
